No doubt that Moscow is a center of Russian cultural life. The Bolshoi Theatre is among the oldest and ballet and opera theatres in the world. The Bolshoi Ballet Academy is based there and numerous dancers and choreographers are graduates of this prestigious school of ballet.
The Tchaikovsky Concert Hall is a place where you can see famous Russian and world orchestras perform. Also there are many well-known drama theatres, such as Maly Theatre.

Moscow is home to more than \(70\) museums and a lot of art galleries. The State Historical Museum is on the Red Square next to the walls of the Kremlin, where the Armoury Museum is located. The Armoury Museum contains countless treasures of Russian tsars. The Tretyakov Gallery is a famous museum displaying masterpieces of Russian painters — thousands of tourists come to admire Russian art every day.
There are more than \(1000\) libraries in Moscow. They are a perfect places to only for reading, but attending various events, attract plenty of visitors. The Russian State Library is the largest library in Russia, the second largest library in the world.
