We are pleased to announce that a new setting is available on YaClass, which allows the teacher to send testworks or homework assignments to students in a randomized order. This setting will help teachers deal with the problem of cheating and copying, as each student will see not only a different variation of the task, but also a different sequence of tasks.
During the final step of creating a new testwork, under “Settings”, the teacher will see a new setting called “Shuffle tasks”. This allows the teacher to choose the order in which the students will see the testwork’s tasks.

Do not shuffle: all students will see the tasks in the same order as chosen by the teacher.

Random question order for each student: Each student will see the tasks in a random order. Parents will see the tasks in the same order as the student. All attempts for each student will have the same sequence of tasks.

When a teacher is viewing the results, tasks will be displayed in the order they were selected on the testwork editor page. If shuffling is enabled, the teacher will see in which position the specific task was visible to each student when looking at the submitted answers.
