Herbert George Wells, also known as H.G.Wells, was born at Atlas House, 162 High Street in Bromley, Kent. He was born on 21 September 1866. H. G Wells was an English writer. He was prominent in writing dozens of novels, short stories, works of social commentary, satire, biography, and autobiography.

Herbert George Wells's parents are Joseph Wells and Sarah Neal. His parents used to call him "Bertie", and he was the fourth and last child of his parents. He is now remembered for his science fiction novels and is often called the "Father of science fiction".
