3. About Richard H Ebright

Richard H. Ebright was born in Reading, Pennsylvania, on June $11$, $1959$. His parents were Jacqueline K. Ebright and Richard J. Ebright. He had received the Searle Scholar Award for Biochemistry and the Schering Plough Award for Molecular Biology.

 

Richard H. Ebright received the Academic Press Walter J. Johnson Prize in $1995$. In addition to that, he received a National Institutes of Health MERIT Award. He was selected as a Fellow of the American Academy of Microbiology in $1996$.

 

Ebright has researched protein-DNA interaction, initiation, activation, transcription-translation coupling, and antibacterial drug discovery.
