She was born in Minneapolis, MN April \(27\), \(1921\), and graduated from Washburn High School in \(1938\). With her husband Matt, she raised three children, first in Eden Prairie, then Beaverton, finally settling in Lakeville, where she has lived for \(44\) years.

 

A prolific, lifelong writer, her most inspirational work often appeared in national publications. During \(17\) years with the Lakeville School District, she was Editor of the District Newsletter and worked in the Kennedy Elementary School Library.
