'The invention of Vita Wonk' is an excerpt from Roald Dahl's novel "Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator", which is, in turn, a sequel of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory". Dahl's books basically revolve around human emotions and children dealing with them. The book, in a very funny yet simple way, explains the theme of human relationships such as family and friendship. The lesson talks about how Willy Wonka, who once completely ignored family, went on to make a potion to help the grandparents regain their youth. In fact, they were not even his grandparents, rather belonged to Charlie's family. But Willy Wonks, who chose him as an heir, sees them as a family too. It also represents how one must go the extra mile to get the things that they want. One should be willing to take risks. Willy Wonka does not give up when the grandparents reach minus age, rather he thinks of a way out and succeeds in it as well.
