There are predominantly four seasons in our country:
- Summer
- Monsoon
- Winter
- Autumn
Each season has its own characteristics, months, clothes to be worn, activities that can be done. The following table summarizes the same:

Difference between season, weather and climate:
- Season is each of the four divisions of the year (spring, autumn, summer and winter) marked by particular weather patterns and daylight hours.
- Weather is the state of the atmosphere at a particular place and time as regards heat, cloudiness, dryness, sunshine, wind, rain, etc.
- Climate is the weather conditions prevailing in an area in general or over a long period.
