18. How to write a book review

The book review format includes an introduction, body, and conclusion.

 

Introduction:

Begin with a summary of the book. This is probably a good way to introduce any review because it gives context on what you are talking about. Describe the book cover and title.

 

Body:

Pick out the most important characteristic of the book. Include small quotes as examples. Include any subtitles at this stage.

 

Conclusion:

Find similar books and compare but come out with your own opinion. Give it a star rating if you want. Include the Author's Name.
