4. Summary of the poem

"Making Life Worth While" is a poem written by Mary Ann Evans. She advises that every soul that we come across in our daily lives has something to teach us. We should try to get some good virtues, some grace in our actions and kindness in our thoughts. We may get new aspirations which we have not felt before. We may also get a bit of courage to face the darkness of our life. We can get a gleam of faith to be brave and face the increasing ills of life. If we take one glimpse at the bright skies, we can be sure to inherit the goodness of the heavens and make this life worthwhile.
