6. Summary of the lesson "Homeless Man and his Friends"

This is a real incident that happened in a place called Rio do Sul, in South Brazil. There was a homeless man who required emergency treatment. When he went to the hospital at \(3\) AM, the hospital staff were surprised to see a gang of four dogs waiting anxiously at the entrance for their homeless master, César. César confessed that he had been foregoing his food to feed his dogs. After an hour of treatment, César was fine, and he reunited with his friends. Mamprim, a staff nurse, snapped the touching scene and posted it on Facebook. She said the dogs looked chubby and well taken care of. She further added that even though César did not have any material possessions, he will never be alone in his life, because he had earned love and kindness from his canine companions.
