Fridge - a piece of kitchen equipment that uses electricity to preserve food at a cold temperature
Tap - a device that controls the flow of liquid, especially water, from a pipe
Sink - a bowl that is attached to the wall in a kitchen or bathroom in which you wash dishes or your hands
Dishwasher - a machine that washes dirty plates, cups, forks
Stool - a seat without any support for the back or arms
Washing machine - a machine for washing clothes, sheets, and other things made of cloth
Cupboard - a piece of furniture or a small part of a room with a door or doors behind which there is space for storing things, usually on shelves
Food mixer - a machine that mixes substances
Kettle - a container for boiling water, that has a lid, handle, and spout and is made from plastic or metal
Cooker - a large box-shaped device that is used to cook and heat food, either by putting the food inside or by putting it on the top
Oven - the part of a cooker with a door, used to bake or roast food
Saucepan - a deep, round pan with straight sides, usually with a handle and a lid, used for cooking things over heat
Frying pan - a flat metal pan with a long handle, used for frying food
Lamp - a device for giving light, especially one that has a covering or is contained within something
Alarm clock - a clock that you can set to wake you up at a particular time with a loud noise
Duvet - a large, soft, flat bag filled with feathers or artificial material used as a covering on a bed
Wardrobe - a tall cupboard in which you hang your clothes
Bed - a large, rectangular piece of furniture, often with four legs, used for sleeping on
Chest of drawers - a piece of furniture with drawers in which you keep things such as clothes
Pillow - a rectangular cloth bag filled with soft material, such as feathers or artificial materials, used for resting your head on in bed
Bedside table - a small table that is kept at the side of a bed
