8. Calculate the sides of the rectangle

The points $A(-2, 2)$, $B(-5,2)$, $C(-2,-12)$ and $D(-5,-12)$ in order are the vertices of a rectangle. In the rectangle, the opposite sides are equal. Calculate the side values of the rectangle using the distance formula.
