$ABCD$ is a trapezium in which $AB || DC$, $BD$ is a diagonal and $E$ is the mid-point of $AD$. A line is drawn through $E$ parallel to $AB$ intersecting $BC$ at $F$ (see Fig.). Show that $F$ is the mid-point of $BC$.
