17. Three marks example problem III

1. Saravanan’s father bought \(2\frac{3}{4}\) \(m\), \(2\frac{1}{2}\) \(m\) and \(1\frac{1}{4}\) \(m\) of cloth. Find the total length of the cloth bought by him?

 

The total length is $i\frac{i}{i}$ \(m\).

 

2. Add: \(3\frac{2}{4} + 7\frac{2}{5}\)

 

The total is  $i\frac{i}{i}$.
