LHS:

$sin \ 30^{\circ} \ cos \ 60^{\circ} + cos \ 30^{\circ} \ sin \ 60^{\circ} =$

Since LHS

$=$ RHS, then

$sin \ 30^{\circ} \ cos \ 60^{\circ} + cos \ 30^{\circ} \ sin \ 60^{\circ} = sin \ 90^{\circ}$ .

Hence, we proved.

2. Find the angle made by a ladder of length
