The characters acquired result from our body reaction to external stimuli internal stimulisuch as nutrition, disease, climate changeIrritants, sights and smells. This produces a specific characteristic where a genotypephenotype change is observed. But it should not be changedshould be changed to allow characters to become inherited from the genotype of an organism.  The DNA of germ cells is  not altered altered  in the acquired characters. Acquired characters are therefore not inherited.
