Give reasons:

a. Platinum, gold and silver are used to make jewellery.

Since platinum, gold, and silver are , they are used to make jewellery. As a result, they rarely corrode and retain their lustre and shine.

They are so vigorously that they catch fire if kept in the open.
They are hot metals. So, to keep them cool, they are stored in oil.
Oil increases their reactivity.
