If nitrogen disappears from the atmosphere, things on earth will burn slowlynot burnburn rapidly, which may produce goodmoderatedisastrous results. Although plants may or may not absorbabsorbdo not absorb nitrogen directly from the air, it requires nitrogen for their colourgrowthrespiration.

 

The gas is consumed by the plants in the form of fertilizersalkalinesliquids which can be easily absorbed through the soil. Hence, nitrogen is very important for living organisms to growexpandrespire properly.
