A large bowl is filled with water and the open mouth of an empty bottle is dipped into the water-filled bowl. In the uprightinverted tilted position of the bottle, water does not enter into it due to the presence of waterairbubbles. It prevented the gaswaterair from entering the bottle.

 

When the bottle is tilted sideways, the waterairoxygen present inside the bottle goes out in the form of airwaterbubbles.

Thus, the airbubbleswater entered the bottle by occupying the space inside. This proved that the empty glass in fact is not empty.
