In rooftop rain water harvesting, the rainwatergroundwaterseawater is collected from rooftop to a storage tank via groundstorage tank via pipesstorage tank via roof. This water contains impuritiesoxidesminerals and hence, need to be filteredcooledheated before use. The roofpipesground can also be connected directly into a pit in the grounddirectly into a pit in the roofindirectly into a pit in the ground instead of a tankgroundpipe. With this, the water can go into the roof and refill the groundwatersoil and refill the rainwatersoil and refill the groundwater.
