Natural Resources
We know that resources obtained from nature are called natural resources. They are broadly classified into two based on the exhaustibility.
- Renewable Resources
- Non-renewable Resources
Renewable Resources:
Resources found in abundance in nature and can be used again and again are called renewable resources. These resources are non-depletable and replenishable in nature. This renewable resource is further divided into:
- Exhaustible Natural Resources
- Inexhaustible Natural Resources
1. Exhaustible Natural Resources:
These are natural resources found in limited quantity in nature and can be depleted with overuse by humans, for example, soil, groundwater, etc.
