Storage sacs for solid or liquid contents are called vacuolesvesiclesgolgi complexlysosomes. In plant cells, vacuoles contain cell sap and give the cell turgidity and rigidity. Vacuoles contain a variety of substances that are crucial to the life of the plant cell. These include some proteins, sugars, various organic acids, and amino acids. Specialized vacuoles play crucial roles in absorb and expelling extra water and some wastes from the cellexpelling extra water and some wastes from the cellabsorbing extra water and some wastes from the cell in some  multicellularunicellularorganisms. However, cells do not move around through their vacuoles.
