Three resistors of \(1\ Ω\), \(2\ Ω\) and \(4\ Ω\) are connected in parallel in a circuit. If \(1\ Ω\) resistor draws a current of \(1\ A\), draw the circuit and find the current through the other two resistors.

[Note: Enter the answer up to two decimal places.]

The potential difference across \(1\) Ω resistor,

ii×i$(1no)=i×i=ii

Since, the resistors are connected in parallel in the circuit, the  potential difference will exist across the other resistors also.

So, the current in the \(2\ Ω\) resistor,

iii=ii

The current flowing across the resistance of \(2\ Ω\) is  \(A\).

Similarly, the current in the \(4\ Ω\) resistor,

iii=ii

The current flowing across the resistance of \(4\ Ω\) is  \(A\).
