Explain the attraction and repulsion between magnetic poles.

 

When two magnets are moved close to each other, they only attracteither attract or repelboth attract or repel each other. The similaropposite poles of magnets attractrepel, whereas the similaropposite poles of magnets repelattract when they are pulled towards each other.

 

The attraction or repulsion of the magnets depends on the directionmaterial of the poles facing each other.
