Boiling of water is a physical change because, on boiling, water is converted into steamgassolidvapour. The steamgassolidvapour condenses back to water when we cover the beaker with a lid. So, boiling water is a physical change since only the physical state of water changes.

 

The boiling of an egg is a chemical change because when an egg is boiled, the shapephysical propertieschemical nature  of the egg changes. The properties of a boiled egg are totally different from the raw egg. So, boiling an egg is a chemical change.
