a. Scratchescuts are referred to as bruises. The areas of damage on the underlying tissues of the skinsurface of the skin are known as cuts and scratches.

 

b. A line of damage that can go through the skin and into the muscle tissues below is known as a scratchcut.

 

c. The surface damage that does not penetrate the lower tissues is known as a scratchburn.

 

d.
