An object

$5\ cm$ is placed at a distance of

$20\ cm$ in front of a convex mirror of radius of curvature

$30\ cm$ . Find the position, nature and size of the image.

Formula to focal length of the mirror is,

$f\ =\ 4R$
$f\ =\ \frac{R}{2}$
$f\ =\ 2R$
$f\ =\ \frac{R}{4}$

Mirror formula is,

$\frac{1}{v}\ =\ \frac{1}{f}\ +\ \frac{1}{u}$
$\frac{1}{u}\ =\ \frac{1}{v}\ +\ \frac{1}{f}$
$\frac{1}{v}\ -\ \frac{1}{u}\ =\ \frac{1}{f}$
$\frac{1}{v}\ +\ \frac{1}{u}\ =\ \frac{1}{f}$

Magnification is,

$M\ =\ \frac{v}{u}$
$M\ =\ \frac{u}{v}$
$M\ =\ \frac{-u}{v}$
$M\ =\ \frac{-v}{u}$
