​Explain the relationship between sanitation and disease.

 

Many people in our nation still lack access to wastewatergroundwater rain water treatment facilities, so they operate in open spaces like fields and train tracks. Thus, untreated human waste pollutes wastewaterrain water groundwater and other water sources, including subsurface water. Drinking this polluted water can result in illnesses like cholera, typhoid, hepatitis, dysentery, etc., some of which are even fatal. Thus, poor sanitation can lead to drinking tainted water, which might result in healthsocialearth issues.

Hygiene is essential to preventing sickness. If diseases don't arise, they will and will spread to other areas.
