The green house effect coolwarmsheat the environment. When the sun's rays strike the earth, some radiation is absorbed, while some are radiatedabsorbedreflected into space. Some of the reflected radiation is trapped by the atmosphere. This trapped radiation further warms the earth. This is known as the Green HouseCFC's HouseCarbon House effect. Carbon dioxide is one of the gases responsible for this effect.
