A boy of mass

$50\ kg$ runs up a staircase of

$45\ steps$ in

$9\ s$ . If the height of each step is

$15\ cm$ , find his power. Take

$g\ =\ 10\ m s^{–2}$ .

The formula to calculate the Power (

$P$ ) is,

$Power\ (P)\ =\ \frac{Work\ done}{Time}$
$Power\ (P)\ =\ {Work\ done} \times {Time}$

$P\ =\ \frac{m}{g \times h \times t}$
$P\ =\ m \times g \times h \times t$
$P\ =\ \frac{m \times g \times h}{t}$
$P\ =\ \frac{m \times g}{h \times t}$
